Description
Getting the perfect shaped ballast can be difficult, but we have found a solution.

These ingenious devices allow ballast to be laid perfectly by running it along the laid track, allowing ballast to run out of the hopper forming a perfect shoulder. Then use a favoured adhesive (such as Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond) to stick the ballast down.

Both versions are made of laser-cut MDF and come as easy to build kits. You can even use Deluxe Materials DLAD-87 Laser Cut Kit Glue to assemble them.
